Refund Policy
This Policy forms part of the Terms of Service of Third Factor Authentication Inc. (“Autenti.ca”). All payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — Paddle issues refunds to the original payment method.
1. 7-day guarantee on the first purchase
If the Service does not meet the School's expectations, we refund 100% of the amount of the first purchase, no questions asked, for requests made within 7 calendar days of purchase. This window mirrors the withdrawal right in art. 49 of Brazil's Consumer Code, which we extend to all customers — even though our sales are business-to-business.
2. Subscriptions and cancellation
- The School may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and no further charges are made.
- After the initial 7 days, amounts paid are non-refundable except where required by law, in the cases in section 3, or at our or Paddle's discretion (Paddle's Refund Policy provides for review of requests made within 14 days of the transaction).
- Price changes are announced 30 days in advance; if the School disagrees, it may cancel before the new price takes effect.
3. Always a full refund when
- a charge is duplicated or a billing error occurs — we correct it and refund the difference immediately;
- applicable law requires it (for example, the 7-day withdrawal right for consumers in Brazil, also honoured by Paddle);
- the Service was charged after a confirmed cancellation.
4. How to request
Send your request to ola@autenti.ca (or WhatsApp +1 905‑745‑6688) with the email used at purchase, or contact Paddle directly at paddle.net. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days, through the same channel used for the purchase.
5. Taxes
Where tax was charged at checkout and the School holds a valid tax registration that exempts it, Paddle refunds the tax on request within 60 days of purchase, under Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms.
